Notice

Gilbane Building Company and their subcontractor will be performing concrete slab pours at the new South Kingstown High School on 4/17/2026, 4/20/2026, 4/22/2026 and 4/24/2026. As the concrete cures, finishing will be required that has the potential to extend after-hours. Anticipated noise levels are equivalent to a lawnmower.
In addition, beginning 4/10/2026, string lights installed in the building interior will need to remain continuously illuminated (24/7) due to safety regulations and OSHA requirements pertaining to this stage of construction. Please see attached for an example picture of the installed lighting. In the coming weeks, as the building envelope is closed in, visible light from the exterior of the building will reduce significantly.
